Are you an experienced internal communications professional used to engaging and inspiring audiences through multi-channel campaigns?

Do you have an eye for a story and a background in motivating internal audiences through periods of change?

This brand new role leading the University's internal communications function is a great opportunity to play a key part in delivering our ambition, inspiring and uniting our staff and student communities through impactful, innovative and strategically planned communications campaigns.

We are looking for someone who is up to date with the latest trends in this area, along with experience of supporting change and a natural aptitude for producing inclusive and engaging communications.

As our Internal Communications Manager, you can expect to get involved in:

shaping and delivering an internal communications strategy
overseeing day-to-day staff and student communications, ensuring high quality, compelling content and activity is planned, produced and disseminated
working with senior stakeholders across the University to coordinate major activity that supports change and broader strategic initiatives
What you will bring to the role:

high level experience of internal communications in a large, complex organisation
significant experience of working to support organisational change through communications
an aptitude for identifying new and innovative ways to engage internal audiences
