FEMALE APPLICANTS ONLY

We are seeking 2 new personal assistants/carers to assist with caring for a lovely young lady, with quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, within the family home. We need to cover all of the below shifts, but are happy to work with the successful candidates to find the best shift combination to suit. Both candidates will be expected to do a minimum of 2 evening shifts and every other Saturday.

You will be required to assist with all aspects of personal care, gravity tube feeds, taking her to her day centre and out for leisure activities. You will be responsible for ensuring new activities are available, some housekeeping duties and replenishment of supplies.

The shifts we have available are as follows -

Monday 7am – 10.00 am & 3.30 pm – 7.30 pm

Tuesday 7am – 10.00 am & 3.30 pm – 8.00 pm

Wednesday 7 am – 3.30 pm & 3.00 pm – 8.00 pm

Thursday 7am – 10.00 am & 3.30 pm – 8.00 pm

Friday 7am – 10.00 am & 3.30 pm – 7.30 pm

Saturday 10.00 am – 8.00 pm

There will be overtime opportunities to cover leave or sickness.

We may offer additional hours to include over night or traveling with us on holiday. Rates and hours would be discussed in advance.

You will be over 21 and have held a full, clean, UK driving license for at least one year, as you will be expected to drive her adapted car. No smoking or Vaping allowed.

These are permanent roles with a 6 month probationary period, statutory annual leave, and pension (after qualifying period). Competitive rate of pay and full training of required elements will be given.
