We are looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join a large manufacturing company and be part of a fantastic team to cover a fixed term contract for up to one year. This busy role involves communicating with internal and external customers via telephone, email, on site and online, dealing with sales orders, product enquiries and handling general queries.

Hours - Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 4:30 Friday 8:00 - 1:30
Responsibilities include
* Prepare all customer quotations using guidelines and system requirements
* Quote follow up and negotiate where required
* Understand the commercial pricing structures
* Processing of customer orders within set KPIs
* Progressing orders through to shipment
* Communication with the customer throughout the quotation and order life cycle
* Review, investigate and escalate customer complaints
* Processing basic technical queries along with the ability to understand the company's products, competition products, and various specifications
* Assisting with external sales requirements relating to Customer and ordering information
* Contact potential and existing customers to promote company products and services in order to maximise sales
* Take ownership of requests and to process them within a 24 hour time frame following up on information
* Assist in maintaining and update existing and new price lists
Skills required
* Experience in customer service/administrator preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment
* Able to understand commercial pricing structures
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Willingness to learn and develop product knowledge
* IT literate at an intermediate level
* Able to multi-task and prioritise
* Confident to up-sell/cross-sell
