Here at the University of Kent, we are looking for a Test Lead to join our Information Services Team.
This is a rare opportunity here at the University of Kent, as Test Lead you will be responsible for leading a team of test analysts, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage, managing testing activities and collaborating with stakeholders to identify and prioritise test requirements. You will develop and implement effective testing strategies and plans alongside day to day testing activities to maintain system quality and ensure a smooth and efficient delivery of the KentVision service to meet the needs of the institution

More about the role:
In this role you will manage and lead a team of Test Analysts assigning roles and responsibilities and providing guidance to ensure quality testing and successful delivery of the KentVision Service. You will also manage all testing activities as well as the teams performance, providing guidance and mentoring, providing regular feedback to team members to ensure test processes within the team are effective, lean and deliver value.
You should apply if you:
Have Experience with matrix and/or line management of a Test Team. Strong ability to support, motivate, develop staff and effectively lead a team
Experience in developing and implementing test strategies, plans and frameworks such as definitions, roles, responsibilities, processes, rules, testing templates and guidance
At least 2 Years of hands-on software testing experience within a whole range of functional and non-functional testing including UAT, acceptance and system testing of Tribal SITS Student Lifecycle Systems in a Higher Education Environment
Extensive knowledge of the principles of functional and non-functional testing, and a track record of innovation in testing
