We have an urgent requirement for a full time Customer Service Advisor to complete an assignment with an immediate start that runs until the end of October 2023!

Applicants must be available for an immediate start.

The beauty with this position is that it offers a combination of predominantly working from home with a requirement to attend the office 1, perhaps 2 days per week on a rotation with your colleagues when you will meet clients in the office and handle their enquiry face to face so customer facing skills important.
For the purpose of working from home, you will be provided with the equipment in order to do so.
A full day/ possibly 2 days training will be provided (for which you will be paid) enabling you to confidently go live.

The Position:
The role is within the public sector and has become available due to the implementation of a new housing system which will generate more enquiries for a lengthy period of time.
These enquiries will be from individuals who are already on, or who want to go on, the Housing Waiting list and want help/assistance with the new system and their application form, which they can complete either over the telephone or in person.
The positions are pretty straight forward and with the full days training will enable you to confidently handle these enquiries with ease.

Rate of Pay: £10.80 per hour
Hours of work: 30 - 35 hours per week
4 days 8.30am – 5.00pm with an hour for lunch and 1 day 9am – 5pm with an hour for lunch
Duration: Now until 31st October 2023

The experience we are seeking in an individual:
The ideal applicants will come from a background where customer focus has been key, either face to face and over the telephone - or both preferably, but ultimately, you must be able to communicate with people at all levels and be able to demonstrate a sensitive, yet professional approach at all times.
You may be dealing with often vulnerable people so must be able to demonstrate diplomacy and empathy.
Good listening skills are equally important.
PC skills are also required, and you must be able to pick things up quickly.
Any previous experience working from home in a customer focused bases position would also be helpful.
