Do you have significant and recent experience of working in a higher education international student recruitment environment? Do you have a passion for connecting international students with the right study opportunities? If so this full time ongoing role could be ideal.

As a senior member of the International Recruitment team, you will play a key role in delivering, and have superb opportunities to contribute to, the University’s international marketing and recruitment strategy and deliver related overseas student recruitment activities. You’ll focus on the development and implementation of the University’s strategic aims to support international student recruitment and build upon institutional relationships to strengthen the University’s profile internationally.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

Take a leading role in developing the University’s international student recruitment strategy including determining market priorities and researching new and existing recruitment markets
Provide proactive support and guidance to International Recruitment colleagues, Divisions and academic schools in their own promotional and recruitment efforts
Lead on the operational management of recruitment activities for specific regions ensuring that recruitment targets and operational objectives are met within defined budgets
What are we looking for?

Significant and recent experience and knowledge of working in a higher education international student recruitment environment
Cultural awareness and experience in dealing with international organisations and individuals
Proven success in developing and managing effective international networks and external relationships
Experience in developing collaborative partnerships between institutions
Flexibility and willingness to undertake regular travel in the UK and overseas and are prepared to work some weekends and public holidays
