Customer Service Representative

Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm/ 9am - 5:30pm

An exciting new role has opened for a Customer Service Representative at a well-established distribution organisation, located in Gillingham.



Our client is looking for a confident candidate who is a strong communicator and looking to work within a supportive team with great benefits!



Duties of the role include:

* Managing inbound calls, dealing with all customer enquiries including, tracking orders, damages, returns, complaints, and payments
* Accurately logging calls and uploading information onto the system
* Following the correct procedures and guidelines regarding customer needs
* Delivering exceptional customer service and building strong working relationships ensuring customers are updated with their account, product, and pricing ranges
* Liaising with other internal departments to ensure customer processes run smoothy
* Exceeding targets and providing support to the team to achieve this
* Any other additional tasks required



The successful candidate will have/be:

* Able to accurately record and input data at fast pace
* Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and Outlook
* Previous experience in a customer service role
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
* Confident communicator
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Able to stay calm under pressure and use own initiative
* Work well both independently and amongst a team
* A proactive attitude and positive work ethic
* Previous experience communicating via live chat (desirable not essential)
