Overview
A well established firm of Chartered Accountants in Ashford is on the lookout for a new member of the team!
Monday-Friday 37.5hrs with option of hybrid working if needed.
Duties
Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
Drafting corporation tax computations and returns
Assisting with the planning and execution of audit assignments for a diverse portfolio of clients
Preparing working papers, audit testing, and ensuring documentation is completed to a high standard
Reviewing financial statements in line with UK GAAP and auditing standards
Identifying and communicating audit findings, risks, and recommendations to senior team members
Preparing management accounts, often with commentary and analysis
Assisting with VAT returns and dealing with VAT queries from clients
Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing feedback
Working closely with managers and partners to support client delivery and deadlines
Salary is flexible depending on experience bonus benefits. Higher salaries can be discussed.
A successful candidate for this role would have circa 3+ yrs experience in UK accountancy practice and be able to commute regularly to Ashford.
