We are supporting a local Folkestone school in the recruitment of a Facilities Assistant who will have responsibility for supporting in the day to day facilities tasks.
If you have some experience of facilities and operational functions with a keenness and willingness to learn and develop, then this may be the role for you.
Duties:
* Assist with maintenance and ad-hoc repairs.
* Assist in maintaining the security of school premises, building and grounds.
* Assist in maintaining, operating and testing security systems.
* Play an active role in the completion of compliance checks.
* Supervise contractors on-site.
* Setup and supervise events
Full UK Driving Licence (Essential) and own transport (Essential) due to working across multiple sites.
Starting immediately as a temp and working weekly until you transfer to a permanent contract, hours will cover 37/week with flexibility to cover those hours between 06.00 and 22.00 although rarely starting and finishing at these times.
The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
