CATERING ASSISTANTS Maidstone / Aylesford
We are recruiting catering assistants for our cafes at Mote Park and Cobtree Manor Park. The ideal candidate will have some previous experience of working in a café environment. You will be working as part of a team and must be able to work calmly and organised during busy periods.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
· Greeting customers on arrival, processing their food and beverage orders using the epos system, taking cash and card payments
· Preparing and serving hot drinks, takeaway items and Ice cream from the counter
· Working as part of the team effort ensuring the front of house and outside seating areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
· Allergen awareness
· Maintaining daily temperature logs
· Keeping the counter displays topped up and looking attractive
· Performing cleaning duties and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
The position is customer focused, so a respectful and friendly ‘here to help’ attitude is essential.
Hourly rate: Above the minimum wage
