We are a small family run business looking for a capable sales/retail person to work 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
The position will include sales of garden and forestry machinery (lawnmowers, chainsaws etc), dealing with customer enquiries for spares and advice plus ordering of stock and parts when required. We have a busy counter/showroom so this position would suit someone who likes to be busy. Ideally you will have experience with sales and an interest in helping people to choose the right product. It would be helpful if you were able to assemble new products so an understanding of following assembly instructions with an interest of how things are put together would be useful. Being a small business there are numerous other jobs to do so a willingness to help when needed would be ideal.
Holiday, four weeks plus bank holidays. Your wages will be paid monthly and we will set your starting pay according to your relevant experience.
A polite and friendly manner with good communication skills, efficiency and punctuality is essential
