Community & Partnerships Officer

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Salary: £33,897 - £37,986 per annum pro rata
Contract: 9 months Fixed Term

About the Role
Are you looking for a new challenge or to gain new experience working with a variety of external
agencies or other teams? We are looking an enthusiastic individual to join our Community &
Partnerships Team as a Project Officer. This is a full-time position, working 34 hours per week, on a fixed term contract for 9 months to cover a period of maternity leave.

This role will involve working with a variety of external agencies, including the voluntary and community sector and statutory organisations such as Police and NHS, as well as internal teams. The successful candidate will need to have excellent relationship building skills and ideally experience of working with other agencies.

About You
The successful postholder will need to have good organisational skills as in addition to managing a variety of community projects, you will also be responsible for coordinating the multi-agency Community Safety Partnership. This will involve arranging of the face-to-face meetings, delivery of any associated actions and the creation of performance reports.

This post will also be delivering several community projects in collaboration with external agencies – previous project management experience would be useful however we are willing to consider candidates that are keen to learn and can demonstrate good organisational and time management skills.

Selection Process
