Our client a multi-site group are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant for their offices in the Medway Towns. This person will act as the main point of contact for the UK and provide support to the Financial Controller and finance team in producing their monthly and annual reporting. Hybrid working on offer for this role + excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Accurate financial reporting and contribution to the budget/ forecast processing
Liaise with internal and external auditors and ensure a smooth process and resolution of queries
Continue to help develop robust forecasting process, including Budget and Plan years for Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash flow. Report Risks & Opportunities and key Initiatives to deliver
Internal and external audit point of contact
Developing a sound knowledge of joint venture and joint operation related matters to support the Group Finance Manager as being the Group’s ‘go-to’ experts;
To administer the companies assets and liabilities in accordance with the established financial controls and accounting policies of the Company.
The ideal candidate -
Will be fully qualified – ACA/ ACCA or CIMA
Have a good understanding of US to UK GAAP conversions
Experience of SOX testing
Experienced in working for an international organisation
Possess a good understanding of P&L; balance sheet reporting and look to improve existing processes
