Paramount Independent Property Services is a growing organisation and a leading provider for delivering housing and property management services. We pride ourselves on our impeccable support and service delivery to thousands of households across Kent and Sussex. We work in partnership with all Local Authorities in the South East to assist with a variety of housing demands.
Responsible for:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our existing team across the South East. We are looking for a proactive, conscientious individual with property management experience to join the team working from our Head Office in Rochester, Kent. The successful candidate will be providing administration support duties to our housing team. The role is within a team working alternating weekly shifts of 8am-5pm and 9am-6pm and one Saturday a month on a rota basis (9am-4pm).
Job purpose:
An organised and confident individual is required to join this fast paced, innovative organisation, who are currently expanding and provide temporary accommodation on behalf of local councils in the southeast. This position is varied and will involve responding to reactive repairs and planning work load for external employees. The role entails working independently and regularly at times but will also require a good teamwork ethic.
Duties:
• Receiving calls in a customer focused and polite manner
• Managing calls from our clients in respect to enquiries, including repairs and anti-social behaviour incidents
• Communicating and planning jobs for the external team
• Communicate with staff, clients and other agencies in a professional manner
• Respond to messages via email and telephone
• Updating events using our own database (training will be provided)
• Other duties necessary for the effective operation and positive reputation of the business.
Duties in common with other members of the team:
• To be a positive ambassador for Paramount Independent Property Services.
• To undertake any other reasonable duty that may be required from time to time.
Person Specification:
• Highly organised and a positive work ethic.
• Previous experience in property management (1 year)
• Previous experience in customer service (1 year)
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Customer service focused.
• Confident with client facing responsibilities.
• Willingness to work flexibly where required.
• You must pass a DBS check and be a UK citizen or free to work in the UK. Evidence of this will be requested.
• You must hold a full clean driver’s licence.
