Receptionist and Office Assistant
• Full-time receptionist and office assistant
• Location : Tunbridge Wells (due to the nature of this role, you will be based in the office)
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am until 5:30pm

We have a fantastic opportunity for a receptionist and admin assistant to join our friendly reception team at our busy head office in Tunbridge Wells. Buss Murton Law is a well-established law firm providing highly experienced Solicitors to Kent and the South East with offices in Tunbridge Wells, Cranbrook and East Grinstead.

You will be supporting the PA for the Head of Finance & Operation, and other members of the team in the firm’s operation function across all three offices.

Some key responsibilities include:
• To be responsible for the firm’s client services ensuring Reception cover at all times
• To provide a highly professional service to all clients and visitors
• To communicate effectively at all levels and have a confident, empathetic and friendly approach.
• To have a high level of integrity and a smart professional appearance
• To work effectively as part of a small team
• Switchboard calls are answered in a polite, professional and timely manner
• Co-ordinating meeting room bookings and car parking facility
• Scan all post and hand delivered documents to relevant person
• Ensuring the postal duties are covered
• Responsible for maintaining stationery stock and sundries for all three offices
• To assist with the smooth running of the facilities function across all offices
• Attention to detail in updating client records, file closures, scanning files, and retrieving documents

Who we are looking for:
• Ideally someone with experience working in a similar role, in a professional environment
• Excellent telephone manner and someone who enjoys customer facing roles
• Confident in using Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel
• Highly organised with the ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure
• Enjoy working as part of a team and independent enough to work alone
