VAT/Bookkeeping Accountant
Job Responsibilities.
Preparation of VAT returns
Reconciling sales invoices, purchase invoices and bank accounts
Preparation and filing of VAT returns using all VAT schemes to be reviewed by manager
Communicating with clients via email & telephone
VAT registrations
Other general bookkeeping to assist accounts team
Assisting with HMRC VAT investigations
Communicating with HMRC when required
Skills Required.
Minimum two years experience in a VAT/Bookkeeping position
Strong knowledge in Xero
Strong IT Skills (Microsoft office, other accounting systems such as Quickbooks, FreeAgent, Sage)
Benefits/Other Info:
20 days holiday plus bank holiday
Paid time off between Christmas & New Year
Full time, 9-5 Monday, Thursday & 9-4 on Friday
