Sales Ledger Clerk
Rochester, Kent
£25,000-£30,000
Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

KHR has partnered with a Kent-based leading supplier.

The role of the Sales Ledger Clerk is crucial to ensure the finances of the organisation are running smoothly.

Main Responsibilities:
- Raise sales ledger invoices/credits
- Responsible for all Credit Control
- Using Sage 200 & Credit Hound software
- Credit checks to maintain customer credit limits and minimise bad debt risk
- Produce customer statements and process remittance advice
- Working experience of CIS scheme - payment applications/retention (desirable)
- Filing and archiving as and when required
- Answer telephone calls and direct calls accordingly
- Processing of sales invoices
- Dealing with invoice queries and discrepancies and liaising with colleagues regarding any
accounts discrepancies

Candidate Profile:
- A working knowledge of Sage 200 is desirable
- Understanding of Microsoft Office Software
- Knowledge of an engineering-biased industry would be desirable
- Ability to work on own initiative and work well within a team environment.
- Must have excellent attention to detail
