Our well established Client based in the Gravesend area is currently looking for a temporary Caretaker.

You will provide a customer focused, estate base cleaning and caretaking service at specific sites ensuring the highest levels of appearance, security and safety. You will also be required to move from site to site at short notice.

Main responsibilities will be to undertake regular inspections of the estates to identify the caretaking, cleaning, security and housing management needs at each site. Upon inspection of each site to take action as appropriate to respond to issues identified or report if necessary.

Other responsibilities include cleaning of communal internal and external areas. Ensuring that at all times the site is free from litter and that all surfaces are free from surface staining, residue of cleaning materials, marks, dirt, cobwebs and other soiling. Removal of weeds and to carry out weed spraying of hard paved areas if required. The removal of graffiti from walls etc, by the use of paint or cleaning fluids.

You will be required to be proficient in the use of cleaning machinery. Maintain sufficient stocks of cleaning materials and identify and report details about incidents of crime, vandalism, dog fouling, littering, tenancy contraventions and anti-social behaviour to the relevant department for actions.

The right candidate will be required to drive a company vehicle so must have a clean driving licence with no more than 6 points and an Enhanced DBS due to where you will be working.

There are two roles available, one full time position and one part time position.

The full time hours of work are Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm and the part time hours of work are Monday - Friday 7am - 1pm.
