HR ADMINISTRATOR
Do you have experience within the construction or architecture industry?
Overview:
A rare and exciting opportunity to join our international client as a HR Administrator based in London. They are looking for a proactive team member who will be responsible for provide assistance in the daily running of the HR department.
Based in London
Hybrid work structure: 2 days office, 3 days WFH
Up to £30,000k PLUS 20 days holiday plus BH, 4 additional days over the Christmas period and length of service annual leave enhancements. 5% employer pension contribution, cycle to work scheme, interest free season travel loans, Linkedin learning, BUPA healthcare and many more!!
Monday to Friday
Start date: Asap!
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to the HR Department
* Maintain HR filing system for current staff and leavers
* Filing of departmental paperwork
* Maintain personnel records and archive according to Data Protection Act requirements
* Assist in creating and updating user accounts on internal management systems
* Preparation of new starter induction packs and assist with new starter inductions
* Issue office keys and fobs to new staff while maintaining a register
* Maintain the lockers key log
* Prepare and obtain new staff reference requests
* Apply for airport security passes for staff (referencing and maintenance of pass register)
* Liaise with staff regarding criminal record checks (associated with airport security passes)
* Update of absence register - ensuring forms are completed
* Support Reception cover and facilities once a week
* Deal with ad hoc queries The role requires the following:
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent administrative skills
* Strong organisational skills
* Good attention to detail
* Confidentiality and discretion
* Ability to work on own initiative and be pro-active
* Ability to build rapport quickly with all staff members
* Develop an understanding of employment law The role requires good knowledge of Rapport / Personnel Manager/ Word / Microsoft Excel / Outlook
