SEN Teaching Assistant – Medway

Supply Desk is currently looking for an expereinced Teaching Assistant to provide support alongside a specialist tutor on a two-to-one basis with a child with Special Education Needs within the Medway area. Supply Desk work with several local councils and schools to provide tailored one-to-one tuition programmes to help children bridge the gap & excel.

Applicants should have suitable prior experience working with children with SEN, though all applications will be considered.


The role:

Supporting a pupil with a variety of additional needs, including ADHD, ASD, and PDA.
Effectively engage the student with an alternative curriculum package designed by his tutor.
Provide support to the tutor in delivery of fun learning tasks


You will need:

To be passionate about making a positive influence on children who require additional support
To be able to drive
Have or be willing to obtain a valid & up to date DBS.
Be able to effectively engage and manage students.
Be able to work flexibly.
