Role Summary:
Assist in the delivery of the HR Company Strategy by providing an administration and coordination function for the department.
Main Responsibilities:
• Be the main administrative support to all ongoing HR Projects.
• Assist with recruitment activities including creation of job adverts, posting adverts on relevant job boards, shortlisting CVs and scheduling interviews with managers.
• Own the New Starter administration process – prepare and send offer and welcome letters, liaise with managers to ensure all new starter paperwork is complete, set new starters up on time and attendance system, arrange inductions and order PPE.
• Process all incoming and outgoing reference requests.
• Take notes during investigation and disciplinary meetings.
• Provide administrative support to the weekly and monthly Payroll function.
• Be a Time and Attendance Software Champion throughout the business.
• Assist employees and managers with queries.
• Assist with lunch arrangements for site visitors if required.
• Maintain document control system for the HR department.
• Maintain HR noticeboard ensuring displays are up to date and the content is appropriate.
• Play an active role in organising and coordinating employee engagement activities.
• Own the employee lifecycle administration such as change of terms and leavers, including conducting exit interviews.
• Ad-hoc administration duties to support the site as required.
• Continually review and improve working processes.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Strong administration skills
• HR administration experience
• High levels of attention to detail are essential.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• CIPD level 3 certificate in Human Resource Practice, and experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous, although not essential.
