Job Title: Bookkeeper

Location: Ashford - Office based, your own transport is required due to the location of the office in the countryside

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am - 5pm

Salary: £27,500

Your key responsibilities as an Bookkeeper would be:

* Purchase ledger, inputting invoices, supplier payments and bank payments onto Sage
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Investigating invoice queries
* Managing delivery and collection notes for all purchases
* Matching procurement requisitions to the purchase order system
* Raising quotes for customers
* Raising invoice and transaction queries
* Querying unusual entries and transactions
* Completing Credit card reconciliations
* Managing the creditors ledger
* Producing customer quotations/costings
* Updating Financial records
* Using Excel and Sage

We'd love to speak to candidates with the following skills:

* Experience in an Accounts role
* Sage Line 50 experience
* Ideally AAT qualified but not essential
* Experience within the construction sector would be an advantage but not essential
* An understanding of Construction Industry Scheme, Payroll, VAT returns and basic double entry book-keeping is desirable
