Due to a period of impressive growth and expansion, my forward-thinking client based in Cranbrook is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager and working to specific deadlines you will play a hugely important role in the continued success of this company.
You will be expected to provide accurate and timely information for inclusion in the monthly management reports. This is a challenging and varied role which offers excellent exposure to a variety of accounts functions including sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control, prepayments and accruals, reconciliations and variance analysis. A confident approach is essential with the ability to work on your own but also a willingness to offer solutions and improvements to the current systems.
It is imperative that you have advanced Excel skills and a working knowledge of Sage 200. You must be reliable, highly numerate and methodical in prioritising your workload.
