Are you a Graduate, or second jobber, who is looking for a career in insurance with ongoing intense training? If so, we are seeking Customer Service Advisors to be based in Ashford & Whitfield, Dover. You will be the primary customer point of contact for the business, taking inbound calls and dealing with customers who visit in person, handling all manner of customer queries, policy changes and claims processing. This is a Monday to Friday, 9-5pm, role (35hrs pw) with an hour for lunch break.

Full training provided (which may include additional travel and staying away from home in order to attend training courses). There is potential to complete CII qualifications and may be occasional weekend work to support agency events.

£19-22,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Duties include:

* Review and advise customers on insurance requirements
* Identify and initiate cross-selling opportunities/activities
* Acquire and maintain knowledge of company products and Product Licences
* Administer client instructions to meet compliance standards including processing and dispatch of documentation within required time-frames and quality standards
* Deal with insurance claims within authority levels and in accordance with company claims standards
* Implement customer money collection to meet key financial requirements and the agency credit control policy
* To develop and sustain effective working relationships with customers, members of agency and staff
* To comply with all applicable sections of the Compliance Manual, Claims Guide and local agency procedures
* To perform other duties requested by Agents or Line Manager

Insurance experience isn't necessary, but the ideal candidate will have:

* Proven track record in delivering excellent customer service
* Ability to build relationships through effective written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Good IT skills especially Microsoft Office and to use company systems
* Able to manage own workload and able to work effectively under pressure
* Willingness to learn new skills
* Hard working and great team player
* Min. 6 GCSEs A-C (or equivalent) including English, Maths & Science
* Be able to problem solve and use own initiative whilst demonstrating attributes of honesty, integrity, due care, skill and diligence
* Desire to be the best
* Own transport & full UK driving licence

The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and CCJ checks.
