Dartford Primary Academy have a fantastic opportunity to appoint enthusiastic and motivated Bank Staff to join our highly collaborative and supportive team. This role is pivotal to our success in the classroom and provides a great deal of support for our teachers, therefore our successful candidates will be able to establish strong working relationships with staff and students alike. The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a team, be reliable and excellent communicators.

This is a great role for those seeking flexible working during Term Time only and who are keen to be part of a fantastic primary school! You will agree to the days that you are available, however, may be contacted for staff absence, school trips and particularly busy periods. This role is on a paid-on-claim timesheet basis, with the candidate required to start as soon as possible. Our appointed bank staff members will provide cover in the classroom, nursery, breakfast club and/or during lunchtimes. ​​​​​​​

The successful candidate will have:

A hard working and flexible attitude.
A passion for working with children.
The ability to carry out designated tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
The ability to work as part of a team.
The ability to be creative and use initiative to engage children.
The ability to work under pressure, with enthusiasm, motivation and commitment.
Strong listening skills and the ability to prioritise, manage time effectively and remain calm under pressure.
Strong verbal and communication skills appropriate to the need to communicate effectively with a wide range of pupils, colleagues and parents.​​​​​​

Working with us at Dartford Primary Academy: Dartford Primary Academy is a highly successful three form entry primary school in Dartford, catering for children between the ages of three and eleven. We provide children with meaningful opportunities and experiences to become global citizens who have a desire to learn.
