An exciting new role has opened for a Weighbridge Operative within one of the largest developing material supply organisations, located in rural Ashford. Due to the location of this role, it is required that the candidate drives. This role is on a temporary basis with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.



We are looking for an enthusiastic, immediate starter who is keen to work for a developing company amongst a successful team.



Duties for this role include:

* Ensuring a smooth and safe running of the weighbridge function within all areas
* Raising purchase orders, filing documentation, and inputting information onto the system
* Liaising with customers over the telephone; dealing with all enquiries and complaints
* Completing and documenting timesheets
* Accurately recording and documenting minutes for meetings
* Adhering to all Health and Safety regulations on site
* Providing excellent customer service to all customers
* Enforcing and following procedures
* Confidently using the radio to communicate with colleagues on site
* Monitoring and controlling all visitors on the site
* Any other additional tasks and duties as required



The successful candidate will have/be:

* Previous experience in an Administration role
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* A strong understanding of MS Office; computer literate
* Able to use own initiative
* Methodical and organised approach
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills
* Willingness to work towards a Weighbridge Operative QCF Level 3
* Previous experienced within the industry (Desirable but not essential)
* A full UK Driving License required (Due to location)
