We are seeking two Team Leaders for our client based in Chatham Docks within a recycling processing plant.
*You must have an excellent grasp of English.
*You need them to start half an hour before the shifts starts (paid for of course) so you are preparing the pickers as they arrive and before the shifts starts with regards to attendance and PPE etc.
*Reporting to the senior Team Leader and site Manager, you will work with and supporting the Supervisors and Managers during the day.
Job description
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working AM and PM shifts.
- Ensuring your team of 20+ agency staff on each shift keep to their working times and work efficiently
- Ensure the team are adhering to existing operational and safety procedures with the support of the Supervisors/Managers. Taking part in regular Site Safety Meetings.
- Monitor agency staff performance and use this information when taking part in meetings to improve efficiency and safety with the support of Supervisors/Managers.
- Starting, stopping and monitoring the Mrf plant to ensure maximum uptime.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
