Due to recent expansion, we are seeking a skilled stainless steel TIG/MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our fabrication team ASAP.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and be proficient in working with various materials, particularly sheet metal. As a TIG/ MIG Welder/ Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling components that meet our high-quality standards.

Duties

Operate TIG/ MIG welding equipment to weld stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium components.
Assemble and fabricate parts according to engineering specifications and drawings.
Perform quality checks on welded joints to ensure compliance with standards.
Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for preparation and finishing tasks.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Troubleshoot any welding issues that may arise during the fabrication process.
Skills

Proficient in welding techniques.
Strong mechanical knowledge to understand machinery and equipment used in the welding process.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Experience with sheet metal work, including cutting, shaping, and assembling components.
Competent in using various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
