Quality and Compliance Manager

Are you an experienced Quality and Compliance professional with a background in the food industry?

Duties include:

* All round responsibility for Quality and Compliance
* Managing the QMS system, including audit response, leading and developing the HACCP group team
* Supporting the health and safety framework and continuous improvement, offering recommendations where necessary
* Ensuring Risk Assessments are in place for key processes
* Designing training materials
* Monitoring accidents/near miss investigations and check the reporting of them
* Facilitating Health and Safety meetings
* Formulating and environmental policy
* Building relationships with external suppliers and various other relevant bodies/organisations
* Offering strong leadership across the team
* Some (rare) travel within the UK and Europe
* Working closely with Directors to develop compliance strategy, managing GDP Good Distribution practice, customs, health and safety and environmental policy

The right candidate will have/be:

* An experienced Compliance and Quality professional with experience within the food industry
* Educated to at least A Level and ideally degree level
* Be a strong leader, with project and people management experience
* Experience working with 3rd party providers
* Internal audit experience
* HACCP Level 3
