About the role:

Our Aylesford, Kent site is currently looking for a Technical Operator to join Injection Moulding team reporting into the Injection Moulding Team Leader.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

The role will primarily involve carrying out visual quality inspection and packing of moulded products. In addition to these functions, when demand dictates, the Technical Operator will support our Production Technicians in the setting of Injection Moulding tooling, which will involve identifying required tooling, collection and delivery of tooling to the press and tool drop off area or storage locations, fitting and removal of both water and hydraulic pipework and safe installation and removal of tooling using MHE.

Person Specification:
Our ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, experience, skillset and
behaviours:
• Previous experience of working in a high demand manufacturing environment
• Injection Moulding production experience is not essential, but would be an advantage
• Have a proven background in a mechanical or technical role would be an advantage
• A demonstrable pro-active and positive approach to learning and development
• Be self-motivated, flexible, committed, and reliable with an excellent timekeeping/attendance record

Shifts: The position is 3 rotating shifts (6 am – 2 pm, 10 pm – 6 am and 2 pm – 10pm) 40 hrs per week - Monday – Friday

Salary: £22,500 - £26,000 per annum (Band 4)
