Job Title: Customer Complaints Relations Advisor - Insurance

Salary: £21- £25,000 DOE

Location: Tonbridge - currently working remotely, hybrid working will be agreed after training (likely to be 3 days office 2 days home working)

A fantastic opportunity for Customer Complaints Relations Advisor to join a successful and established insurance company based in Tonbridge

The purpose of the role is to assist the Team Managers in managing complaints and investigating claims to prevent fraud.

Duties include:

* Recording concerns and complaints from customers.
* Liaising with policyholders regarding complaints.
* Reviewing escalated complaints and completing investigations to send Final Response Letter.
* Preparing Ombudsman submissions and responding to any further queries.
* Ensuring all complaints data is accurate and up to date, reviewing regularly.
* Developing and updating complaints training in collaboration with the Training Department.
* Mentoring team members to develop their skills and capabilities.

The successful candidate will have:

* Relevant experience dealing with complaints
* Great investigative skills and the ability to pick out the relevant points.
* An understanding of complaints within a home insurance claims environment. Ideally, experience managing home insurance claim complaints to FOS level. If this is within escape of water/theft claims, even better!
* Knowledge of industry anti-fraud techniques.
* Good administrative and organisation skills.
* strong written communication
* Good IT skills, with a good level of English and numeracy.
* Great telephone manner, with an approachable personality and dedication to providing excellent customer service.
* Very high attention to detail.
* Professionalism, tact and assertiveness dealing with difficult conversations and people who may be angry or upset.
