Job Title: PA
Location: Canterbury | Home & Office working is available!
Salary: £12.50ph - £14ph
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Term: 6 months - permanent opportunities are available for the successful candidate
Culture: Working in a busy department within the Organisation's vital team based in the heart of Canterbury.
Our client is recruiting for a temporary PA to cover a 6 month secondment. You will be working closely with one Director as their Personal Assistant for all functions such as diary management, minute taking, managing all incoming enquiries and drafting correspondence. Although this is a 6 month position, you will have the opportunity to apply for permanent roles within the Organisation.
Your key responsibilities would be:
* Providing administrative support to the Human Resources & Organisational Development Director
* Answering and screening all telephone calls, determining the importance before transferring them through
* Drafting and preparing correspondence, reports, supporting information and presentations
* Reviewing, monitoring and maintaining core administrative functions of the department
* Ensuring effective co-ordination, communication and organisation of department events, formal and informal committees, meetings and calendaring
* Diary management for other members of the management team as required
* Preparation of agendas, collation of papers, minute taking, co-ordination of subsequent action and circulation of papers as appropriate
* Monitoring and oversight of web page updating, marketing materials and response to requests for information
* Filing and other administration duties as required
Skills and experience required:
* Competent in the use of Microsoft Office
* Experience working within an PA position is desirable
* Experience taking minutes of meetings
* Strong use of own initiative and confident decision maker
