A well established company located in Medway Towns is looking for a Warehouse Operative to work within the Stores area predominately counting and checking stock.
The position is initially on a temporary basis but can lead to permanent employment for the right candidate.
The hours of work can be flexible equating to 27.5 per week. You can work 9am to 3pm or 4pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday.
You will report to the Warehouse & Goods In/Stores Team Leader producing accurate inventory audits, analysing stock movements and identifying inventory discrepancies.
You will be highly motivated, have previous warehouse experience and be computer literate with knowledge of Windows operating system.
A forklift licence, knowledge of using a barcoding system and stock control is desirable but not essential.
In addition to this you will possess the following personal qualities:
* Good oral and written communication skills
* An analytic approach to problem solving
* A good thinker and active listener
* Good time management skills
* Good problem-solving skills
* Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn about new processes
* High level of accuracy
