Gomez is one of the largest produce companies in the UK and is based in Bridge near Canterbury. We supply produce to major supermarkets, wholesale and non-multiple retailers and are seeking a Customs and Commercial Operations Administrator.

Your time in this role will be spent between providing admin support to both the Customs and Commercial Operations Teams. You will be the central point of contact for our production, procurement and commercial teams.

You will be proactive in handling time critical issues and for communicating solutions across the business. You can certainly be expected to be challenged by this varied role in an extremely fast paced environment.

This is a great opportunity to join our team where you will receive full training and have an opportunity to help Gomez navigate the new customs rules.

Essential

• Educated to A level standard or equivalent
• Excellent attention to detail
• High level of numerical ability and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience of forward planning skills
• High level of Microsoft Office proficiency

Desirable

• Previous customs or experience within the food industry
• Previous experience with a stock management system such as Rubicon or similar
• Multi-Lingual

Working hours are 40 hours per week; 7am to 4pm, Sunday to Thursday.
