At Peel Ports we’re already one of the UK’s leading port and logistics companies. We are regularly looking to bring new staff on board at the Port of Sheerness and are currently recruiting for Port Operatives to join our skilled and dedicated teams handling a vast array of cargo including forest products, steel, automotive, bulks and Project Cargo, as well as processing RoRo and LoLo cargo.
As part of our team you will provide an industry leading service to our customers 24/7, 365 days of the year; it is therefore important that those interested in working with us possess a positive can-do attitude towards flexible working to meet the needs of our operation. Candidates will possess strong communication skills and the ability to understand and accurately follow safe systems of work. Experience of working within the port industry or a fast-paced operational environment would be advantageous as would possession of MHE/crane licenses.
In return we offer a competitive salary, 25 days annual leave, matched contributory pension and flexible benefits.
