We are recruiting a Factory Operative to work within an Engineering Company on a permanent basis.
Ideally you will have previous factory/ manufacturing experience, however full training will be provided.
Your main duties will include:
* Processing of parts in accordance with Works Instruction.
* Filing of castings/moulded parts using compressed air driven hand grinding tools
* Manual Handling
* Moving boxes of castings around the factory and general housekeeping
* Band saw operation
* Shot blasting/etching of castings
* Completing the relevant job cards
You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm and Friday 07:30am - 1:30pm.
The hourly pay rate is £11.59 per hour pus overtime at an enhanced rate.
The company also offers overtime at an enhanced rate and there are opportunities for career advancement.
