Overview
A fast growing firm of Chartered Accountants is on the lookout for a new member of the Payroll team! They provide a full array of specialist accountancy, taxation, payroll, advisory and financial planning services.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a fast and efficient payroll service across a varied client base.
Salary is dependent on experience & qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.
Duties
Processing payroll in a timely and accurate manner from start to finish.
Creating and maintaining payroll records.
Calculating part months and holiday pay.
Managing statutory payments.
Processing P45s.
Liaising with clients and clarifying calculations as required.
Managing client pension schemes across multiple pension providers, including set-up and monthly uploads.
Using practice payroll software including Sage, STAR and Xero.
What we're looking for
A successful candidate will ideally demonstrate 1+ year prior payroll experience within a UK practice or payroll bureau environment, but experienced candidates from an industry background may be considered. You must live within a 45 minute commute.
