Admin & Customer Service Adviser | Tonbridge | £26,500 pro rata
Are you an organised, proactive and confident communicator looking for a varied role?
My client, a well-established logistics company are looking for a capable Admin & Customer Service Adviser to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys responsibility, variety, and building strong client relationships while supporting key operational functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day administrative operations
Handle customer service enquiries in a professional and timely manner
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and internal systems
Support logistics and wider operational activities
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
Contact existing customers to gather feedback and identify new opportunities
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Identify opportunities to generate further business from existing accounts
Escalate operational or service issues where necessary
Open and close client files accurately
Coordinate with accounts to support timely VAT returns
Carry out other reasonable duties as required
What They’re Looking For:
Strong organisational and time management skills
Confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills
Ability to handle bookkeeping and credit control tasks (desirable)
Basic IT skills and willingness to learn new systems
Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
Confidence in handling objections and turning challenges into opportunities
Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
