We currently have an exciting and rare instruction from a client seeking a Senior Procurement Officer join a Corporate Contracts & Procurement team in Folkestone. This role is ideal for someone with some experience of tendering procedures in line with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023. You will be expected to work with colleagues from across all departments to deliver procurement projects, ensuring compliance, and alignment with corporate objectives.

This role is initially for a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a clear understanding of transparency obligations, including the publication of procurement data and contract awards into the public domain. You will be comfortable navigating the legal and reputational implications of public sector procurement and will ensure that all processes are auditable, compliant, and robust.

This is a high-impact role requiring excellent communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels. • Leading tender processes
