I'm supporting a well-established manufacturing company in Kent in their search for a Process Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on role focused on continuous improvement, process optimisation, and problem-solving across production and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor plant processes and troubleshoot operational issues
* Lead and support improvement projects across departments
* Use Lean tools and techniques to drive efficiency gains
* Identify technical constraints (mechanical, electrical, production) and escalate where needed
* Coordinate status reviews and project updates
* Support shutdowns with analysis and corrective actions
* Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and quality teams
* Support training and development around Lean implementation
* Maintain strong safety, compliance, and environmental standards

What You'll Need:

* A technical engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
* Previous experience in a technical or process engineering role
* Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Comfortable working across mechanical, electrical, and production disciplines
