We’re looking for a commercially minded Head of Finance to join a thriving SME business that’s part of a well-established, multi-site group.

This is a pivotal role in a fast-paced environment where you’ll play a key part in shaping financial strategy, improving reporting and supporting business growth. You’ll work closely with the Finance Director and senior management team to ensure robust financial governance and insightful analysis across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Develop and enhance financial controls, processes, and systems
- Provide commercial insight and decision support to operational teams
- Liaise with group finance to ensure compliance with wider reporting and audit requirements
- Manage and develop a small finance team
- Partner with other departments to drive performance and profitability

About You:

- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience in a senior finance role
- Strong SME experience, ideally within a group structure
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and driving operational change
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholders
- Hands-on, proactive, and commercially astute
