Overview
We are seeking an Estimator, The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the preparation and submission of accurate cost estimates.
Duties
* Process sales quotations, tenders and administration
* Liaising with sales/marketing
* Present estimates to management and clients
* Update and maintain an accurate database of historical costs for future reference.
* Dealing with clients via email and on the phone
* proactively develop and project manage all contracts with regard to acknowledgement of enquiry, response deadline, quotation follow up and associated activities.
* Ensure all drawings, correct liaison and procedures are approved
Candidate skills
* Proven experience as an Sales Estimator or in a similar role
* Strong understanding of cost control principles and methodologies.
* Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Proficient in using estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Part time 3 days per week
fully onsite
Expected hours: 24 per week
