Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Medway, Kent for X2 Forklift Truck Drivers
The role entails:
- Unloading lorries
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Transferring all materials to storage areas
- Stock taking
- Making sure that receiving and storage areas are kept neat and tidy
- Supplying all factory sites with materials as required
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- A nationally accredited Forklift Truck Counterbalance certificate
- Holding a full UK driving licence is essential
- Having knowledge and understanding of health and safety in the workplace and the ability to follow company policy
- Excellent attention to detail
- A "can do" attitude and a willingness to follow direction and think on your own feet
- The ability to work as part of a team
Rate of Pay
- £12.34 per hour + Holiday pay
Hours of work
- Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30
- Friday 08.00 – 15.30
This role offers an immediate start, and the duration is initially for a minimum of 2 weeks but has the potential of leading into ongoing or permanent work for the successful candidate.
