Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based within the Sittingbourne area for X2 Class 1 Day Drivers.
The role will entail:
• General Haulage of recycled waste and recycled paper.
• Delivering to Hubs in various locations.
• The shifts are on average 12 hours long.
• Full time or part time hours available.
• Mainly a driving role including opening/ closing curtains and strapping of the load.
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
• Full Class 1 licence (Minimum 1 year’s recent driving experience).
• Valid Digital Tachograph and CPC card.
• No more than 6 points or have the following endorsement codes showing (DD or DR).
• Compliant to all rules and regulations within LGV driving.
• Good roadcraft/ Geographical knowledge.
Shifts Available:
• Monday to Friday 06:00 start (Day shifts are available on Saturdays/ Sundays during our clients peak trading)
Pay Rates:
• £15.93 (Monday to Friday).
• £23.89 (Saturday)
• £31.86 (Sunday + Bank Holiday)
The rates are all PAYE and holiday accrual is in addition to the above rates and pay is weekly.
All candidates are required to pass our clients driving assessment +2 shifts paid training and once completed our client has work available all year round.
