Financial Controller | Strood | £70k - £80k
Cobb & Jones are working exclusively with a medium sized Group based in Mid-Kent, supporting them in their search for a new Financial Controller. Reporting into the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the finance operations, in order to provide insights and commentary to the board.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
• Ensure accuracy of all reporting
• Management of a small but effective team
• Execution of monthly management accounts
• Providing variance analysis with sufficient commentary to influence business decisions
• KPI monitoring and business partnering with non-finance stakeholders
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Slead on budget and forecast processes
Profile:
• Formally Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), QBE with significant experience will be considered too
• Excellent team player, can demonstrate an ability to lead from the front, be happy to do what you ask of others
• Be a genuine people person – it’s a company with a large volume of staff, all of which are crucial in the day-to-day running of the business
• Advanced Excel skills are crucial – you must be capable of manipulating a variety of data sets to draw relevant and insightful conclusions.
On Offer:
• Circa £80k
