We are seeking a Junior Draughtsperson to join our team at the Lift Interior Company. This role would suit a school/college leaver looking to learn a new skill. Experience with AutoCAD is beneficial but not essential.
The Lift Interior Company was formed in 2006 to offer a dedicated, bespoke and reliable service to the lift industry. We offer an extensive service covering all aspects of lift finishes from customer concept, design, material procurement, fabrication, installation and final handover. We have been lucky enough to complete some wonderful finishes in numerous locations. Some well-known sites we have worked on are; The Olympic Village, Westfield Shopping Centre, Sony Offices, Tottenham Hotspurs Training Grounds and The Old War Offices.
The successful candidate would learn;
To create 2D AutoCAD-architectural and manufacturing drawings.
Management of projects from design stage to installation.
How to manage the project budget.
We operate an inhouse manufacturing department so you will be able to see what has been made first hand from your designs.
You will also have the opportunity to shadow a senior draughtsman to site meetings.
Key skills we require for this role:
Attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
Ability to manage own workload.
Proactive and eager to learn.
