Our client in Medway City Estate is looking for an accounts assistant for their Finance Department on a temporary basis which could lead permanent.
You will be responsible for day to day operations of accounting and other records, particularly having a focus on purchase ledger.
Your duties will include, purchase ledger postings, supplier statement reconciliations, preparation for payment run and generation of remittance advice's. You will also be required to assist in the day-to-day operations of the finance department which will include ad-hoc duties.
About you:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word / Excel
Ability to manage own workload
Good communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
Team player
Experience with Exchequer accounting software (desirable)
Hold or working towards an accounting qualification
This is a Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:45. The role pays £11.44-£12.90ph (depending on experience)
