The School of Allied and Public Health Professions is delighted to announce an exciting and unique opportunity for a motivated and dedicated healthcare professional to join our team as a Practice/Clinical Instructor in Occupational Therapy. This is a newly created role, offering the chance to contribute to both clinical practice and academia, making it an ideal opportunity for those in the early stages of their career, post-qualification, who are eager to explore the rewarding possibilities of education and clinical mentoring.
We are seeking qualified and passionate occupational therapists who are committed to fostering the development of future healthcare professionals. As a Practice Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students during their practice placements, providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback to ensure they gain the practical skills and experience necessary for their professional journey.
This role offers an exciting blend of hands-on clinical involvement and teaching, with a strong emphasis on nurturing and inspiring students to reach their full potential. We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible and this role is Flexible and connected (Academic & Student Facing) Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the service being delivered and to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders. It is expected that the majority of your working time will be spent on campus
