The Role:

We are looking for a Head of Finance to join our client.  In this role, you will you join the charity and provide cover on a 14 month maternity cover basis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Be a key part of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Manage the finance function.
- Lead a small but dedicated team.
- Ensure all compliance and governance is maintained to the highest level.

Requirements:

- ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA or QBE
- Previous experience in the not for profit sector.
- Commitment to equality and a compassionate working environment.
- Able to mentor and motivate, to have a positive impact on the organisation`s work.

Desirable Skills:

- Previous experience in the education sector - from a finance perspective.
- Working knowledge of Xero.
