As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you'll dive right into the heart of operations, managing your own projects and collaborating closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: -

• Overseeing all commercial aspects of your projects to maximise profitability and cash flow.
• Assess, review, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks, implementing robust risk management policies.
• Prepare and present monthly cost reports, including forecasting, CVR, and risk & opportunity analysis.
• Work closely with the Client team to agree on valuations and contract variations.
• Provide commercial and contractual expertise to the Project team.
• Handle procurement, account management, valuations, re-measures, and payment notices.
• Support the estimating team with tendering as needed.

We're seeking a recent graduate with at least one year of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will have: -

• Worked on smaller (£5-10m) commercial, retail, industrial, and leisure projects.
• Experience in commercial management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Familiarity with both JCT & NEC forms of contract.
• A Degree level education or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication abilities and keen attention to detail.
